about the tech kickstarter

The first wave of the tech kickstarter competition was a great success. We received applications from more than 25 seed/early stage companies working on some really exciting and innovative ideas in the field of life science, tech/AI, and green innovation. And we announced three winners who received the benefits of this programme. Building upon the success of our first edition, we are now back with the tech kickstarter competition 2.0.

The tech kickstarter competition is designed to provide a boost of tech software/web development to seed stage companies, who have secured some initial funding and are looking forward to building MVPs, Web or Mobile apps to kickstart their digital journeys or supercharge their existing MVPs by expanding their functionality with additional resources.

At o2h technology, we love working with innovative early stage companies and helping them build tech products that can have an impact on human and planet health. Winners of this competition will receive a dedicated team of developers and end to end project management services to support their digital transformation journeys through all phases of application development including design, code, quality check, and implementation.

RouteZero helps individuals and organizations switch out high-emission travel for greener journeys (with help from their partners Trainline and Voi), You, and your company, also get robust reporting data to shout about your impact - tell everyone how great you've been by cutting your travel footprint by up to 90%! They're working with some great organizations, but, to tackle the climate crisis, they need your help to grow their reach and get as many routes to zero as possible!

Our clients recognise they are in a climate emergency. They rely on us to decarbonise their travel and transport emissions (Europe's single largest source of emissions). Winning the o2h Kickstarter competition brings an additional team of high-quality resources to RouteZero, enabling us to accelerate technology to catalyse the decarbonisation effect for enterprises.

About Biiah

Biiah is a platform designed to help people establish a daily singing routine to improve their health, through virtual and in-person workshops, as well as a companion app. They work with various businesses, charities, and organizations every single week to deliver in-person and online singing for health sessions to community members, employees, and staff.

We're ever so grateful for the support provided by the o2h tech kickstarter competition. Biiah is accelerating quickly, and scalable technology is a key aspect of our potential growth, so having a team onboard to help accelerate our tech alongside our client growth is critical. eligibility

The competition is for seed stage companies who have secured initial funding from recognized grant bodies or venture/angel investors, (or are self funded) and are building MVPs, web/mobile apps. They could also have their MVP and need more resources to expand its functionality or features.T&C apply

evaluation

The applications will be evaluated by the o2h kickstarter committee and winners will be announced by last week of October 2023. The evaluation will be done on the basis of business impact, funding milestone, technical scope and scalability.
